Dance For The Future

A solo performance in collaboration with sound artist Lens Kühleitner / Bassano Bonelli and visual artist Maanila Santos de Moraes/İklim Doğan. The piece imagines an alternative future rooted in radical queer-feminist movements—one that rejects white supremacist values embedded in systems of domination and destruction.

Tapping into collective consciousness, Dance for the Future reflects on shared experiences during the pandemic and affirms the power of community as a form of healing. It is a research-based work, envisioning a dance for a future where “supernatural, fantastical, historical, and futuristic elements merge together.” (Mark Dery, American author, lecturer, and cultural critic)
